There are many exciting things happening with AI, from which, until recently, JavaScript developers were largely shut out. But things are changing, if you can do `npm install @tensorflow/tfjs` or make an API call, you can now do AI. In this fast-paced talk, I'll open your mind to what's possible by demoing several AI-powered JavaScript apps and show you how they were built using either TensorFlow.js or easy to use AI powered APIs. You don't need a PhD in Maths, you don't need years of experience, you just need imagination and the willingness to try. **What will the audience learn from this talk?**<br> This talk is an entertaining introduction to Machine Learning in JavaScript. There are many exciting things happening with AI, from which, until recently, JavaScript developers were largely shut out.
But things are changing, if you can do npm install @tensorflow/tfjs
or make an API call, you can now do AI.
What will the audience learn from this talk?
This talk is an entertaining introduction to Machine Learning in JavaScript. The apps I demo are fun to watch and keep the audience interested in the more complex explanations that follow. We start with the basics of neural networks and end with understanding more complex NN like Generalised Adversarial Neural Networks. Without even trying too hard the audience walk away with a good knowledge of what's now possible with JavaScript with a clear call to action for how to learn more.
Does it feature code examples and/or live coding?
No live coding but if there is enough time I live demo some apps. (It can work just as well without "live" demoing the apps.)
