Naomi Ceder has been learning, teaching, and using Python since 2001 and is the author of the Quick Python Book, 3rd edition. She has worked as an organizer in the Python community for 15 years and is the chair of the board of directors of the Python Software Foundation. She also speaks about her own experiences of diversity with the hope of making the communities she loves safer, more diverse, and more welcoming for everyone. By day she leads a team of Python programmers for Dick Blick Art Materials and in her spare time she enjoys sketching, knitting, and deep philosophical conversations with her dog.
