We will explore management and leadership in the context of agility. What is management? What is leadership? Who are managers? How is this "management thing" relevant in an agile world? How is it relevant to teams? The key take-away: A team's contribution to management and leadership is essential to the success of agility. The key question: what can you do? I work as a manager (whatever that means) in our own company. I shape different organizations with our customers: from startups to large organizations, from IT to hardware engineering. My lesson learned: an agile organization needs management as well as leadership tasks to be renegotiated by the teams and the organization. In this talk, I want to share ideas on the teams’ perspective.
