Steven is a software engineering lead at Rigetti Computing, a quantum computing startup based in Berkeley. He leads a team that builds low-level control software for quantum computers. He also helps maintain the Python-based, open-source quantum programming toolkit PyQuil. Prior to Rigetti, Steven was a tech lead at LinkedIn, where he maintained an open-source Scala library for microservice query optimization.
