Phil Hofmann
Founder at 200ok GmbH and Lecturer at ZHAW
Phil Hofmann co-founded "200ok", a consultancy and incubator based in beautiful Zürich, Switzerland, where he turns his ideas into products and helps clients to ship software fast. Besides that he is a lecturer at Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Prior to that he was CTO at Voice Republic, a platform to live stream and archive spoken word content, and worked with the Open Source Research Group at SAP Research (Palo Alto, CA). He studied Computer Science, Media Art, Multimedia Engineering and Philosophy at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.
Phil loves programming and he likes to call himself a polyglot coder, mostly because it sounds good, but also because he has worked with a lot of languages. He has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of programming languages and when it comes to programming paradigms one is never enough. 2018 he celebrates 20 years of professional web application development.
