I founded and helped build organizations in the space of Platform Engineering, including Humanitec, PlatformEngineering.org, and PlatformCon. Across that work, I have operated at several levels at once: building companies, working with enterprise leaders on platform strategy, and being involved in the practical rollout of platforms inside large organizations.

My work sits at the intersection of practice and theory. Across my newsletters and an upcoming book I write about the underlying models, language, and production logic of platforms: from Internal Developer Platforms to broader questions of how platforms may become the operating model for knowledge work in the age of AI.
