Architecting Culture: Moving from Unplanned Habits to Intentional Systems
Dig beneath any failed strategy, poor performance and low motivation and culture is the root cause whether organisations realise it or not. Yet most organisations treat culture as something they can’t control, a random byproduct that becomes a ‘nice to have’ or worse, something they ignore because it’s just too hard to tackle. The hard truth? Culture is a substrate. It nourishes or stifles success.
Drawing from years of working with leaders from Scandinavian Viking longships to Australian mobs across tech startups and scale-ups to big enterprises and government giants, this talk shares leadership lessons on what to do (and what not to do) to turn culture from a vague wind into a steady sail driving your business forward.
The talk shares a simple model that any leader, from Tech Lead, to CTO to Head of Operations can use to drive enduring positive change that sets them and their teams up for greater success.
