Jennifer is a long-time program management director on the SRE team at Google and lead author of Training Site Reliability Engineers: What Your Organization Needs to Create a Learning Program.

She is widely recognized in the industry as a co-editor of the foundational Site Reliability Engineering book published in 2016 (second edition coming in 2026!) She is passionate about applying scientific and engineering principles to everyday problems, championing the SRE culture of blamelessness, and helping technical teams build sustainable workflows.

When she is not teaching engineers how to balance reliability and velocity, she writes about program management topics as The Reliable PgM and catalogs her global adventures as a part-time travel blogger and door photographer on Sidewalk Safari.
