Having worked on all sorts of hardware from tiny 8-bit microcontrollers to big-iron blade servers for enterprises, and in age from PDP-11 clones to cloud-based GPU instances, he has co-authored over 110 granted US patents in the realm of AR/VR, AI/ML, IoT, and blockchain. He enjoys speaking on topics such as machine learning, cloud-native applications, hardware hacking old computers and video game systems, or whatever other tech topic he can make slides on in due time. When it’s time to de-stress, Stephen can be found tending to his collection of vintage computers and pinball machines or watching classic television game shows.
