Tom is a technology executive with 25 years experience in building product, technology and data businesses. He is an expert in web scale systems, cloud architectures, progressive software engineering practices, data and artificial intelligence. He has a passion for building high performing engineering teams that employ the best technology and practices to achieve business results. He’s led organisational transformation programs to embed product-centric and agile ways of working.

Most recently he was the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Catch, a Wesfarmers owned eCommerce marketplace, where he was responsible for all aspects of product and technology including the website and apps, operational systems, fulfilment technology, data, artificial intelligence, platform engineering, corporate technology and security. Prior to that, he was the Chief Technology and Data Officer at REA Group, an ASX listed property marketing company. He led the technology and data strategy and was responsible for providing the technology and data platforms underpinning REA's products, services and operations. In 2018 and again in 2019 he was recognised as one of the top 50 CIOs in Australia.
