Tobias Koppers is a software developer and the founder of the widely used JavaScript module bundler, webpack. When Tobias started working on webpack in 2012, there were few tools available for managing the complex dependencies of modern web applications. Looking at an opportunity to create a more flexible and powerful solution, Tobias began working on what would eventually become webpack.

In addition to his work on webpack, he is also known for his contributions to other open-source projects in the JavaScript community.
