Alex is a Product Lead and Software Engineer at Adevinta. He’s currently leading the product development for Adevinta's internal developer platform with the aim of creating the best developer experience and accelerating software delivery for their engineers. In this role, he is passionate about creating software that users love, with an eye for best engineering practices, and scalable cloud architectures.

With over 15 years of experience in the tech space, he has worked in organisations, large and small, from building network management solutions for some of the largest telcos, to developing software-defined networking controllers for OpenStack and now building a Kubernetes-centric PaaS. Previously, Alex has also been a scientist, working on researching the next generation of computer networks and a university lecturer to help newer generations begin a career in the field of computer science.
