Adele Carpenter
Software Engineer at Trifork
A software engineer, who also blogs, speaks, and talks about her views on feminism and humanity along with tech. Adele is currently a software developer at Trifork, where she is working on backend systems for the educational sector. Most of her work day is spent in the JVM/Spring ecosystems.
Adele got the coding bug later in life but since then made it up, going from command line noob to employed software engineer in just one year. Her experiences both in and out of tech have given her a unique perspective on the art of programming.
Adele works well with people, as she has also been a manager previously, for the GOTO events. From hosting, inviting, organizing and working with high-end speakers for the event, to herself becoming one of the speakers at GOTO, she has walked a great journey. Now a full-time coder.
