About the event
Time. In our code we can capture dates from the past and times from the future. We tidy time into data structures, capture moments in databases and watch the sands of time through our APIs. It's all nice and logical, right? Wrong. If you think you know everything you need to know about date-time handling, you are almost certainly wrong. If you think you don’t, you are almost certainly right.
In this talk, we'll have some fun by looking at some of the not-quite-right assumptions we hold and learn from the messes that other people have made.
