We waited so long to bring you GOTO Copenhagen 2021, and the wait was well worth it — from reconnecting with speakers that have become GOTO favorites and attendees who rarely miss an event, to bringing lots of new faces to both the stage and audience, we had a blast over three days of conference sessions and two full days of masterclasses. Check out a few of our favorite moments from the conference below.

Conference highlight: a truly hybrid party

Yes, you heard that right. While Dylan Beattie — speaker and band frontman — couldn't make it in person, software developers always find a way to make it work!

At the conference party, attendees enjoyed a keynote by Mark Rendle on 'The Worst Programming Language Ever,' followed by a live concert with Dylan Beattie (guitar + vocal) live on Zoom while The Linebreakers — Hannes Lowette, Vagif Abilov and Mark Rendle — rocked out on stage.

Tweets & testimonials

"I love GOTO Copenhagen because of the atmosphere and talks. There are brilliant minds with opinions and practical recommendations [...] this is my favorite conference overall!

Anne Cathrine Fallesen, founder & IT consultant

"Amazed by the amount of (good) questions asked at #GOTOcph compared to other conferences I've been to in Scandinavia. The ability to ask questions through the conference app was a good fit for the introverted Scandinavians. Me included 😅"

Martin Andersen, software developer and chief consultant
